I joined STEP in 2007 whilst on a work placement studying for my Degree in Youth Work. After completing my Degree, I was asked to join the team as a Project Worker, where I wrote and delivered many evening and Saturday groups. After spending many years developing my skills, I have worked my way up to my current role of Project Co-ordinator, overseeing the day to day running of all interventions we offer, both within our centre and in schools. One of the most rewarding elements of my work is supporting the staff team, I am qualified in giving Clinical Supervision, alongside this I support the emotional wellbeing of the entire staff team. I am so proud of the work that we do to support all young people who attend our groups, and I am equally proud of the fantastic staff team who deliver this work.
